Your ultimatums fly like broken glass I'm caught up in the crash I'm not the first, I know I'm not the last To hear our reasons clash I don't know how I don't know when But it seems I've lost my way again When I find The way to fly I'll leave this broken shell behind I'm breaking away I'm breaking away I see now you set me up for the fall My back's against the wall I responded to your every call So you could watch my crawl I don't know how I don't know when But it seems I've lost my way again When I find The way to fly I'll leave this broken shell behind I'm breaking away I'm breaking away

Standalone 04:02
Walking through these hollow years Faces come and go Make decisions, cut your losses Move on She looks at you in wonder And you can't see why With the walls surrounding your heart None can get by Can you stand alone And still survive the fall from grace? Can you see the light And endure the fall to shame? How can you just stand there And let the world pass by Fight your problems through the doubts And let yourself live You can't see the many paths Stretching before you Stand up tall and dry your eyes kid I know you'll get by Can you stand alone And still survive the fall from grace? Can you see the light And endure the fall to shame?

Letting Go 04:34
The walls are closing in My thoughts are running wild I can't seem to breathe in tonight I'm running in circles I can't empty my head Seems like the world ends at my bed Time is running out On a clock that has no hands The only thing running is me So why is it so hard To let go of my fears I need to find my way To make worth of these tears I'm falling down The weight is just too much The burden is more than I can bear Then I hear your voice Calling through the rain Your light shines into my eyes I can stand again The memories fall through And all I want to see is you But in my dreams I'm failing out Without a doubt There's so much I can't figure out About my life and everything I know Friends that I just can't let go And blow by blow I'm reeling and I just don't know If I can hang this time Time is running out On a clock that has no hands The only thing running is me
5.
You came into my life Through an awkward situation Damaged goods, no broken home But still a cracked foundation Wearing masks, telling lies To yourself and friends Never seeing all the time The means don't meet the ends And I thought that I'd gotten through To the core and heart of you But one step forward, two steps back Is all you would ever do And I would stand out on a ledge Reaching for your hand And watch as you would light a match And burn away our plans You had your chance You burned that bridge Too many times to fix You broke my heart Gave me a scar Where you were That won't heal All those times I thought that you were mine You were only your own You had your chance You burned that bridge So just leave me alone From time to time It seems that you want back into my life When times get hard, you get bored Or you lay down at night Leaving hints to try to say The words you never could Seeing now you've thrown away Something you never should So pack it up, leave me be I'm trying to move along And given time, I'm sure you'll find Someone else to do wrong When you listen to this song Consider it a match To burn away the bridge you built To climb out of the past

On The Step 04:46
He sighs into his coffee And starts to stand up to leave She grabs out in a panic And finds hold of his jacket sleeve It takes him a second to turn around And look her in the eye She says I'm sorry, but this time He says nothing but goodbye Please, don't go His dignity is on her step Both pride and courage at the door Heartbreak's left him longing for The place that this all started from He's breathing in a moment He can't seem to recognize He's having trouble telling Just what he saw there in her eyes Now he's standing by a train Wondering if he'll ever leave Takes a step and feels a tug Behind him on his jacket sleeve She asks if he'll come back sometime He says maybe, but not today Guess I'll see you around, babe Wish it didn't have to be this way Please, don't go His dignity is on her step Both pride and courage at the door Heartbreak's left him longing for The place that this all started from He's tired of this damned charade The promises that never change He can't remember the last time He felt so empty and so cold inside
7.
Sink or Swim 03:39
He travels heavy hearted Whichever way the wind blows No anchor holding him back No direction of his own Lacking a rhyme or reason No rudder to steer his hope He searches for the lighthouse To try to find his way Her voice Calls me through the haze Beckon me To your faceless sky I can't Hear you through my thoughts The current Is too strong to fight tonight So many times he's landed On shores of shallow promise Moored off to places barren Seeking a soul that's honest Tacking against the wind And hearing a siren's call he Sails further from the lighthouse Further from his home

about

In April 2010, the three of us visited Ryan Mack of MackStudios and recorded a 7-song album in one night. This is the result. These tracks have never been released to the public, and offer an interesting look into the development of several songs in Anderdown's catalog.
